A cappella in Wells

Matthew Coleridge is joined by fellow composer-conductor Francis Faux, to direct a day of a cappella singing in Wells Bishop's Palace.

Singing in the stunning medieval private chapel of the Bishop of Bath and Wells, we'll explore unaccompanied music by both composers in the chapel's warm acoustic. The day will end with a short, informal performance.

We'll be singing some gorgeous music, including Matthew's exquisite "In your light, I learn how to love", and a new a cappella setting of "Stabat Mater Dolorosa", and Francis's sublime motet "Vidi Aquam".
